“Natalumis” Crochet Pattern Review and Giveaway
|Adorable Amigurumi Animals
Designed by Maro Akamatra
If you are looking to dip your toes into the awesome world of amigurumi crochet, the “Natalumis” collection is a great way to start. Designer Maro Akamatra has provided easy to follow written instructions, with clear photos to help you along the way.
Instructions are included for four animals – Cucu the Owl, Rory the Bear, Koxy the Frog, and Onky the Pig. There are options for using felt, or crocheting your own cheeks and eyes. Since I didn’t have any felt on hand, I just went with the crochet option, and I think they turned out lovely.
A wonderful thing about this pattern is the opportunity to have fun with colors and little details. Since I had some small firepolished beads on hand, I thought they would fit perfectly as the frog’s eyes. Charming!
These are going in my daughter’s Christmas stocking this year, and I thought they would make adorable zipper pulls for her backpack. So, I was able to find some ball chain keychain and pushed it through the crocheted fabric. It took a small amount of wiggling, but I was able to push it on through.
The Giveaway
Maro is so graciously giving away a copy of this pattern set to one lucky winner! Follow the instructions below and get up to 4 entries. Giveaway ends 12-21-2018, and winner will be notified shortly after. Good luck!

Twould be a hard decision which to make first – they are all so cute!
