Mini Milk Crate Cover – Free Crochet Pattern
|Mini Milk Crate Cover – Free Crochet Pattern
The good people at LoveKnitting.com sent me some pretty Paintbox DK Cotton yarn to play with and design. Aside from the vibrant colors, the first thing I noticed was how soft the yarn was. Some cotton yarns can be a little stiff, but not this one! It has a slight sheen to it, excellent drape, and is super touchable.
I love anything that helps me stay organized. Mini milk crates are great for keeping things tidy, and can be found at many stores (I’ve seen them at Target and Walmart), for less than $3. Can’t beat that. To make them a little more snazzy, I designed this mini milk crate cover. It’s made in 4 pieces and then seamed together at the corners with whipstitch. One of the great things about these milk crates is they stack perfectly on top of each other or side to side. With this pattern, all the functionality is kept in tact. Even with the pretty cover, the crate still stacks any way you need it to. Neat, right?!
