Baby Doll Dress – Free Crochet Pattern

When your little girl comes to you and asks in her best sugary sweet voice, “will you please crochet a dress for my baby doll“, well, you do it! Since this is much more simple than her usual requests, I was happy to oblige. It’s a quick project to work up, and uses just a small amount of yarn, which makes for a great scrap yarn project.

This dress was designed specifically to fit the Baby Alive dolls, both the hard and soft versions. It would most likely fit dolls of similar size, about 12” tall. My daughter was happy to see the dress also fit her Abby Caddaby doll, too. Actually, she barely looked up from her computer game to give me a nod of approval, but I thought it looked cute.
