Free Crochet Pattern – Summer Spike Sunglasses Case

Summer Spike Sunglasses Case - Free Crochet Pattern

I might be a sunglasses hoarder, oh how I do love them so. Now, I don’t know what “normal” is when it comes to the amount of sunglasses one person should own. I reckon everyone probably has at least one pair of cheap sunglasses. Maybe a special pair from a boutique shop in the mall. Fancy! I own two good pairs of sunglasses I scored on a site called Steep and Cheap for at least half of what you would pay retail. There are at least 10 pairs of “cheap” glasses sitting in a drawer in the art/craft room in my house. To be fair, some of them were bought for a specific special occasion (New Years Eve parties mostly). Gold sparkle cat eyes! I had gold sparkle platform boots to match, how could I NOT buy the glasses?! Red heart shaped honeymoon eyes. Aviator mirror lenses. The list goes on. Then there’s the miscellaneous gas-station cheap sunglasses purchases from when I had forgotten the good ones and needed something. Anything. We’ve all been there.

Whether you are an apparent sunglasses hoarder like me, or just need to keep your favorite specs from getting scratched up in your purse, I’ve got a fun free crochet pattern for you. It’s worked in mostly single crochet while also incorporating the “single crochet spike stitch”. If you’ve never done it before, don’t worry, it’s SUPER easy.
