Spring Shawls – Free Crochet Pattern Round Up
|Spring Shawls – Free Crochet Pattern Round Up
Warmer weather is here (or at least it will be soon), and I’ve collected 12 of the prettiest shawls, perfect for the spring months and beyond (think wedding season). All of these can be dressed up or down, and would look great with jeans and a t-shirt or over a summery dress.
1. Saffron Sweet Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Cre8tion Crochet – I love the lacy look and easy repeats of this shawl! Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Saffron Sweet Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
2. Aphrodite Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Karen Drouin for Yarnspirations – This shawl has been on my to do list for a while now, I think it would look amazing over a tank top. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Aphrodite Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
3. Little Bit Of Bling Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Underground Crafter – Fringe is IN in a big way! You’ll be right on trend with this shawl. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Little bit of Bling Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
4. Yes Yes Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Vickie Howell – This is such a cute shawl! It’s a smaller “shawlette”, but rows can easily be added to make it longer. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Yes Yes Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
5. I Promise You Pineapples Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Cute and Kaboodle – The lines and design of this shawl is just superb, I love how it is just “kissed” with the pineapple on the edge. Another one on my soon-to-do list! Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: I Promise you Pineapples – Free Crochet Pattern
6. Amita Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Rebecca Velasquez for Yarnspirations – The Amita shawl is on the easier side, it’s the first shawl I ever made, but quite lovely. It is actually supposed to be a 1-skein shawl, however it was slightly shorter than I wanted it (and I’m a shortie) so you probably want to purchase an additional skein. 7. Ella’s Rythm Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Underground Crafter – I love the versatilty of this shawl. Wear it over your shoulders or bunched up around your neck and it looks just fabulous! Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Ella’s Rythm Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
8. Lydia Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Denise Crawford – This pattern is so pretty and will keep you interested throughout the pattern with a variety of stitch patterns. Would look SO good with a yarn with long color changes. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: The Lydia Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
9. Tessellating Pine Cone Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Maria Merlino – If you are all about the pineapple stitch, you will love this shawl. It’s great if you are looking to try something a little more challenging. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Tessallating Pine Cone Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
10. Rings Fling Wrap – Free Crochet Pattern by Kim Guzman – This is the only rectangle shaped shawl/wrap in the round up, but I had to include it because it’s so pretty, I just love the pattern stitch! Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Rings Fling Wrap – Free Crochet Pattern
11. Treble Crochet Stitch Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern by Mundo Crochet – This is another easy shawl to make, something you can work up while watching tv. Crochet chart is included along with a written pattern. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Treble Crochet Stitch Shawl – Free Crochet Pattern
12. Morpho Shawlette – Free Crochet Pattern by Cheri McEwan – I love the daintyness of this shawl. It’s so delicate, and would be really pretty over a tank top or summer dress. Add this pattern to your Ravelry queue here: Morpho Shawlette – Free Crochet Pattern
