Easy Wrist Warmers Fingerless Gloves – Free Crochet Pattern
|Easy Wrist Warmers – Free Crochet Pattern
Here in New England, it has been unseasonable warm. On Christmas Day it was 65 degrees! The balmy weather didn’t last too long though…it seems the warm front has gone now, and Mother Nature has brought on winter full force, complete with frigid temperatures.
So, with the cold weather here I decided to design an easy-to-make pair of wrist warmers that you could whip up in less than an evening. These wrist warmers are very similar to my “Simple Wrist Warmers Free Crochet Pattern”, with one difference. The Simple Wrist Warmers have no increases, and leaves just an opening for the thumb – really simple and great for beginners just starting to work in the round. These Easy Wrist Warmers increase on the way up to the thumb, and then we skip the increased stitches to make an opening for the thumb. Still easy, but requires increases (and one decrease at the end).

awesome fingerless gloves, love the color! Thanks for sharing the free pattern!
You are so very welcome! Hope you have fun making them, share pics if you can, I love to see other people’s work. Happy hooking!
I love this pattern but I added 3 rows of 24dc at the start, then increased up to 28dc for row 4, then used your pattern for the next 7 rows and added an extra row of dc at the end incl the decrease. 12 rows all together. This made it just that little bit longer at both ends and even cosier! Thanks so much for a great pattern to work with 🙂
Thanks Steph. So glad you enjoyed the pattern and were able to tweak it to your liking!
