Wristlet Purse – Free Crochet Pattern

Free Crochet Pattern - Wristlet Purse

Looking for a bag that is just big enough to fit your cell phone, wallet, and keys? Then this purse is for you. It features a drawstring closure at the top, and a wide strap for wearing it around your wrist. This would also make a great makeup bag, or a small bag to organize items inside your BIG purse – One of the best things about this design is that it uses just under 2oz. of yarn. That means you only need 1 ball of cotton yarn to create this pretty purse! If you want a real stunner, may I suggest a self striping yarn – the results are quite lovely!

Finished measurements are 6-1/2″ tall (not counting strap) by 4-1/2″ wide.

There is an option for a shell edging (as shown on the pink purse), or you can keep it clean and omit the shell edge. I did not add a shell edging to the blue purse, but opted for a gorgeous orange popcorn stitch flower as an embellishment. The flower pattern is not mine, but can be found HERE at B.Hooked’s website. She also has a fabulous video tutorial to go along with the pattern.

Not a crocheter but love these purses? You can support handmade and purchase them in my ETSY shop.
