“Making Waves” – Water Bottle Holder – Free Crochet Pattern
|Free Crochet Pattern – Making Waves Water Bottle Holder
As I experiment with my hook and yarn lately I find myself gravitating towards summery themes and colors. I know it’s the middle of winter but that snow has gotta melt sometime!
For this bottle holder I used a lime green, black, pink, and orange. You could make this is all one color of course, but the design really pops when you’re using multiple colors.
As always, I’d love to see your pics on ravelry. You can add it to your queue here: Free Crochet Pattern – Making Waves Water Bottle Holder

I really love those zingy colours – and also the idea of the peep holes, too 🙂
I’m going to have to look through my bright yarns to make this for my daughter, as she works at so many festivals in the spring/summer months – thanks for the great pattern 🙂
You’re very welcome! Summer festivals were exactly what I had in mind when I was working this up. =)

May I ask what size of water bottle goes into this holder? As in what diameter and height is the bottle? Thanks in advance!
If made with a G hook, it will fit the small16.9 oz water bottles well, if made with an H hook, it will fit a variety of larger bottles (it has a little stretch). The water bottle in the picture is 3-1/2″ across, 9″ around in circumference.
It’s not big enough to fit the super wide nalgene’s, but the standard stainless steel drink containers would fit perfect. Hope that helps!
Oh and the bottle in the picture is 8″ tall.
