Granny Poncho with Free Crochet Pattern link

I just finished an afghan I have been working on for a loooong time (more on that to come) and needed a small-ish project to do before I embark on anything too time consuming. I decided on a granny style poncho for my little girl.

Following this pattern from HERE, I gathered up my yarn and went to town. Some Lion brand Baby Wool from a frogged blanket was available and begging to be made into something pretty.
This was my first time working from a diagram instead of a written pattern. If you’ve never tried before, I highly recommend it!
