Owl Book Bag – Finished!

I managed to finish the owl book bag in time to give it to my daughter for her birthday party on Saturday. Yay!
It’s 100% cotton yarn, so it should last a long time! I was having troubles figuring out how to do the wings. Started out with a leaf pattern and built up on it but it just didn’t look right. I ended up using 2 strands of purple and made a flat circle using DC. Sewed it on at a slight angle and it was exactly the look I was going for. Sometimes, simple IS best!
